Ashley Adkins

MSN, RN, CCRN

Ashley Adkins graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2015. She has spent the last ten years working as a bedside nurse, most of which have been spent in a medical-surgical ICU in Arizona. In 2018, Ashley obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). Most recently, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Nursing Education. As an ICU nurse, Ashley has a passion for teaching and educating others. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and running her nursing based social media channels. Ashley takes pride in making relatable content to help nurses throughout their nursing careers. Whether it is making a video on how to run a code, or about how to talk with dying patients, she strives to provide valuable, educational content for nurses.

Gia Carbonaro

BSN, RN, CCRN, TNCC

Gia Carbonaro worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) throughout nursing school, tested to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) after one year of nursing school, and then graduated with her Bachelor of Science and became a Registered Nurse (RN) through Arizona State University. Gia has spent the last five years working in the adult medical surgical intensive care setting with a special interest in the organ donation process. Throughout the years Gia has obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse certification (CCRN), hosts donate life month at the hospital she works at every year, runs therapies such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Extraventricular Drains (EVDs) and frequently spends time in the trauma and cardiovascular ICUs as well. Outside of being at the bedside, Gia spends her time volunteering at a reptile sanctuary, being active, and spending time with her loved ones.
